Government Run Health Care is a horrifying ideal. Turning America towards socialism is atrocious. The polls of today inform me more Americans concur with me than not. I predict that even more Americans will be of the same mind during the long month of August. The folks in Washington seem to think they know what is best for me. I must be unintelligent and not gifted to make decisions for myself. Arkansans are in opposition to government takeover of health care. We are also not in favor of Cap and Tax but you my Representative in Washington just keep voting party lines. Town hall meetings have been full of irate Americans protesting EVERYTHING going on in DC (except for Obama’s staged scripted meetings). I speculate if you will be bold enough to have a town hall meeting during the August break. My presumption is you will shy away from a one-on-one with your populace. Perhaps you will send out invitations to the few supporters of these crap bills staging it like Obama having a press conference after. You need to get out of your office and seek out all Arkansans to discover where we stand on the issues. You represent us the citizens of Arkansas. We say hell no to Government takeover of our health care. We say no to cap and tax. We say no to insure illegal aliens. We say NO to amnesty for illegal aliens. Standing in Price Choppers I watched an illegal alien paying for her groceries with food stamps and WIC while her husband was at the courtesy booth sending money to Mexico. We say no to a tax increase. Wherever I go these days, people are talking about an out of control President and Congress. Stop the spending in Washington secure our borders, round up the illegal aliens, and deport them. Please email me a list of your speaking events for August.
I have sent you emails with reference to ACORN.As usual you have ignored me about this important problem. Acorn registered 91,000 new voters in Nevada and 21,000 were duplications. This is an outrage. Who elected Obama Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck? I find it sinister that Republicans are the only group in Congress who want an investigation into ACORNS fraudulent activity while the Democrats stay oddly silent. Congress has given the thugs 53 million of taxpayer dollars and the Democrats anticipate giving them another 8.2 Billion of stimulus money. It is my understanding they funnel this money back to the Democrats reelection campaign. What a sleazy deal? No wonder ACORN people frequent Barney Frank’s office. Perhaps your reluctance to investigate ACORN is Obama seems entangled in their web. He did work for ACORN AS A COMMUNITY ORAGANIZER. The ACORN web includes players such as SEIU and THE APOLLO ALLIANCE. “How many felony charges does it take to see that this organization has violated the public trust? Congress is not the arbiter of guilt or innocence; but Congress does decide how to spend the people’s money. At what point do we say that this organization is not worthy of the hard-earned bucks of the American taxpayer? According to recent testimony to the House Judiciary Committee, ACORN has been under investigation in some states for, among other things:
• Violations of the Tax Code as a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization for intervening in partisan campaign activities.
• Violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971.
• Fraudulent voter registration activities.
• And failure to comply with state law in voter registration drives.
And, here are just a few more headlines of late:
• In January of 2009, a voter registration worker for ACORN in East St. Louis was indicted on two counts of voter fraud for submitting forged cards for residents at nursing homes without their knowledge.
• According to the AP in October 2008, “a suburban Philadelphia man was charged with forgery, allegedly altering 18 voter-registration applications during his employment with an organization [ACORN] whose voter-outreach efforts have become a flashpoint in the presidential campaign.”
• And, CNN reported in October 2008 about an ACORN worker who “helped register nearly 2,000 voters for the community group ACORN. But not one of them actually existed… he was convicted last year and spent nearly three months in prison.”
Politics as usual has ended in this country. Many Americans including myself have become political for the first time. We research the internet finding the truth out for ourselves. Why are Americans flocking to FOX NEWS? The Big Three Networks are having record low ratings with their news broadcast. While CNN, MSNBC and HLN combined, have a lower rating than FOX. Americans are demanding answers and the left wing media are nothing but cheerleaders for Obama. I have always voted for President but normally stayed home during off election years. Never again will I skip an election. I am talking to friends, family and customers asking all to register to vote in time for 2010. The Democrats have too much power, which is obvious with the spending of this administration. You act like 1 billion is pocket change and another 2 billion given to Cash for Clunkers is no big deal. What you do not seem to understand is we are broke. For the first time in history the federal deficit has topped $1 trillion, Barack Obama and his democratic cohorts has spent more money in his first eight months as president than all the other presidents combined. This record deficit is projected to almost double by the fall to about $1.85 trillion, making it a record that quite possibly will never be broken. That is unless Barack Obama is elected to a second term. The Obama budget will give us $11 trillion of debt at the end of five years and $17 trillion of debt at the end of ten years.
Obama has called Police Officers stupid and our Doctors crooks and continues to blame his sour economy on President Brush. Pelosi is now calling the Insurance Companies villains. According to Morningstar reports, the margin for health carriers is 1.5%-4%. Obama had a press conference blaming the failing economy on Bush while patting himself on the back stating the stimulus is working. To date less than a tenth of stimulus money has been released most of that being PORK. Democrats or saving the bulk of the money to boost their reelection attempts in 2010. Good luck on that. The so-called recovery act has had nothing to do with this so-called recovery. I believe Americans are set to make a declaration in 2010. We are angry and the fact that Congress is refusing to eat the slop they are feeding us makes us angrier. I ask why is Congress in opposition to using the health care package they are pushing on us.
Obama’s “Science Czar,” acclaimed Harvard ecologist Paul Holdren is to oversee human population levels and protect the planet, Holdren believes in forced abortions, “compulsory sterilization” and the creation of a “Planetary Regime,” according to a textbook that he authored and that the White House concealed during Senate confirmation hearings. A major news organization recently exposed the alarming, radical ideas of the president’s chief science adviser. While Obama’s “Green Jobs Czar” has an equally controversial history. Van Jones is a Yale Law School graduate and longtime civil rights lawyer who became a communist after the 1992 Rodney King riots in Los Angeles and says he loathes capitalism because it exploits nonwhite minorities worldwide. He is a committed Marxist-Leninist-Maoist who became a revolutionary after meeting “young radical people of color” in jail and views police officers as the archenemies of black people. Next we have Ron Bloom Obama’s car Czar shutting down dealerships. If you probe this issue, you find that those who contributed to the Democrats seem to be giving a pass. Off topic but along this same line the stimulus money is going to states that supported Obama. Back on topic, this is Obama’s shadow government and it is against the constitution. Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution gives the Senate the power of "advice and consent" to confirm certain Executive branch appointments, which include Cabinet secretaries, federal judges, and Ambassadors. Congress needs to cut funding for Obama’s shadow government NOW. You raised your right hand and swore to uphold THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES. DO YOUR JOB.

Monday, June 15, 2009 - Last week President Obama appointed yet another “czar” with massive government power, answering only to him. Even before this latest appointment, the top-ranking Democrat in the Senate wrote President Obama a letter saying that these czars are unconstitutional. President Obama’s “czar strategy” is an unprecedented power grab centralizing authority in the White House, outside congressional oversight and in violation of the Constitution.
As of last week, Czar Kenneth Feinberg has the authority to set the pay scale for executives at any company receiving government money (and how many aren’t, these days?). Czar Feinberg has the power to say that someone’s pay is excessive, and to make companies cut that pay until the czar is pleased.
Congress did not give Czar Feinberg this authority. For that matter, Congress has not authorized any of the czars that President Barack Obama has created. Over the past thirty years presidents have each had one or two czars for various issues, and once the number went as high as five. But now, by some counts President Obama has created sixteen czars, and there may be more on the way. Each of these has enormous government power, and answers only to the president.
Ever since this practice of appointing czars began years ago, it has always been considered possible that they are all unconstitutional. But it never built to a critical mass to elicit a court fight. These czars were few and far between, and rarely did anything that seriously ruffled any feathers. But President Obama has taken this to an unprecedented level, to the point where these appointments are dangerous to our constitutional regime. - [ ]
"Fortunately, there is a remedy. Any person on the receiving end of an order from any of these czars has standing to challenge their constitutionality in court. Any person whose pay is deemed excessive by Kenneth Feinberg, or affected by any other czar, could file a federal suit asserting that the order is an unconstitutional exercise of government power, and have a court both invalidate the order and hold that the position itself doesn’t legally exist.
Then everyone could just ignore these czars, because they would simply be private citizens, without the authority to order any of us to tie our shoes.

In summary
I say VOTE NO to government run healthcare. Government cannot run anything and besides if the 47 million uninsured wanted healthcare most could get it they just do not want to pay for it. Why should they when Obama will give it to them free. If Congress taxes small businesspersons to pay for this program, we will look back on 10% unemployment as the good old days. I run a small business and if you want to destroy, the economy just put a tax on small business to pay for healthcare. I'm tired of doing the right thing all my life so I can pay for someone else's healthcare that they are either unable or ,for the most part, unwilling to pay for.
In addition, now that I am on Medicare it is a mess and you want to take $280 Billion out of the program to pay for a bunch of people who do not want to pay. Recently I had a minor operation. One bill was $3500 Medicare paid $500. Soon I guess I can stand in line behind an illegal to get service since all the good doctors are not going to take Medicare much longer.
It is no wonder things are in such a mess what would one expect from an ACORN sponsored Community Organizer who along with Biden and Pelosi have not had enough business experience to run a lemonade stand. If government run healthcare is so great, why is Congress exempt? Looking forward to 2010.
I have tried writing, emailing and calling my government representatives about an out of control situation in Washington. Two of my representatives will not respond back to me and the other sends a form letter. If other Americans are getting the same results then I can understand the anger seen at town hall meetings. I do not agree with the actions of some of these angry Americans. Nothing gained by shouting, chanting and catcalls but for the Whitehouse to claim these were manufactured protests is dangerous. This will only anger the masses further. This is a grassroots movement of mainstream America. I am an AARP member who like thousands of other members will not renew my membership. They have endorsed Obama’s health care plan claiming their membership supports it as well. These are not radical right wing nuts nor or they republicans or democrats. They are mainstream Americans who are outraged at an out of control administration. They feel disenfranchised by their representatives in Washington. The Constitution has become a meaningless slip of paper and our rights are in jeopardy. You have seen the tip of the iceberg. Americans are uniting for a cause and party be damned.
Yes we need health care reform but in doing so we do not need a public option or big government playing a role as a health care provider. Nor is destroying the system we have now the answer, 86% of Americans polled or happy with their health care. If a bill is passed with public option or government take over a huge majority of Americans will feel alienated by the Democratic Party. You will not have a snowball chance in hell in upcoming elections. If a price reduction in premiums panned out or other reforms along these lines happened, Americans would be thrilled and Democrats would be heroes. A good place to start is TORT reform but it seems the left is in the pockets of the lawyers and will not touch this issue.
